SpletHowever 2D echo can skip regional localized anomalies of the right ventricular wall like: minor ventricular bulges, focal aneurysms, localized thinning of the ventricular wall, hypertrophy of the moderator band or disappearance of right ventricular trabeculations. Thus the value of 2D echo, in the diagnosis of ARVD is limited.
