I've tried leaving them in the car boot for the next round but then the smell hits me the next time I play which sends my 1st tee shot OOB. WebWhat does it mean if my shoes permanently smell bad? It means that bacteria has permeated the fabric/leather and has become a breeding ground. To avoid this, I spray hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol into the shoes and socks the night before I wear them. If you can control the bacteria growth, there will be no smell! Kyrah Malan
