It's darker and heavier than Tobacco Vanille, and combines the tobacco note with an interesting berry accord. It's also vanillic like the Tom Ford, but balances the sweetness with spices and slight incense-like smoke. In short, it's great!

It's lovely, but I wouldn't recommend Herod if you can get Arabesque by the Merchant of Venice. Although they are not exactly the same, jazz club has better lasting power and sillage.
