The conventional wisdom is the Duratracs but my tire guy, who sells both, said the Silent Armors are better- better sidewall and better warranty. The Adventure tires look identical to the Silent Armors- Kevlar and same warranty ... WebGoodyear. Check Price. Bottom Line. It can handle gravel, sand, grass, and other non-pavement surfaces, but it seems to struggle a bit when it comes to mud. Pros. Great traction in gravel, dirt, sand, and on the road. Cons. It becomes noisier the more it wears down and displays mediocre traction in mud. Tire sizes.
