The other thing with actually setting it off is that you need to let go of R2/L2 then press X to confirm. You can't just press the skill button again, as I initially assumed. (2) WebOkay okay, just use it on whoever this mob is hitting ( = target's target). This should in theory get you into the habit of using /focustarget on your healer, and might start you on the path to using with other stuff, like in this macro for Stoneskin: /micon Stoneskin /ac Stoneskin /ac Stoneskin /ac Stoneskin

Thanks a … WebApr 2, 2015 · You are not mistaken, an invalid target with defaults to self. Interesting note, if you use and don't have a target, it tries to use it on yourself regardless. If you don't have anything specified in the macro it won't even attempt to fire if you don't have something targeted, even self-only abilities.
WebI thought about making a macro like this myself, but I worry that if I try to throw it down between casts on a boss (or the boss slaps me with an AoE) it will just toss it at the boss' feet instead of giving me a marker. I just wish there were variants of that only worked on friendly (or enemy) targets for these effects. WebCan anyone give me a Macro that would target yourself and cast it? Having to select myself each time and then click it wastes valuable seconds, considering cast time. IT'd be nice to just hit it and bam. Something like I dunno all the codes.
